Gas Line & Underground Utilities Safety Training
In partnership with Civil Constructors, TN 811, and Spire Tennessee, this training covers the critical practices needed to work safely around underground utilities.

Learn key requirements of the One Call law, locate markings, clearance standards, and who must contact 811. The session will also cover EFVs, private lines, utility spotting, and the importance of coatings and tracer wires.

We’ll walk through the real dangers of utility strikes and the immediate steps to take if a gas line is hit along with insights from the Tennessee Public Utility Commission (TPUC).

Real-world examples and visuals will reinforce key takeaways, with guidance that applies across all underground utilities.
