East TN - Fall 2026 BBQ, Birds & Brews

Description

BBQ, Birds & Brews is back for a second event in 2026!!! This time we hit the range at Chilhowee Sporting Clays outside of Maryville, TN for a great day of shooting, networking, fellowship & food! We will have two flights (AM & PM) with lunch held between each flight. Food to be catered by local Veteran owned restaurant, Hatcher's On Target BBQ.

All shooters are encouraged to review specific course information that can be found at their website by clicking this LINK. Each participant will be required to complete a waiver prior to shooting.

Time

AM Registration: 8:00am - 8:45am

AM Safety Session: 8:45am - 9:00am

AM Flight: 9:00am - 12:000am

AM Awards Ceremony: 12:30 - 1:30pm

Lunch: 11:00am - 1:00pm

PM Registration: 10:30am - 11:30am

PM Safety Session: 12:00pm - 12:15pm

PM Flight: 12:15pm - 4:00pm

PM Awards Ceremony: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Chilhowee Sportsman's Club


The course has 9 shotguns available to rent for $20 per gun; first come first serve. They also have an ample supply of 20 and 12 gauge shotgun shells available for purchase for $11 per box (25 shells per box - 100 shells needed for event). All prices subject to change.

You can bring your own ammo as long as it is within our required specifications - shot sizes of 7.5, 8, or 9 only. Maximum shell length of 2 ¾" Absolutely no 3" or 3 1/2" ammo allowed.

Use of assault-style or military/police defense style shotguns is prohibited. That includes guns with barrels under 22", magazine-fed guns, shotguns with pistol grips, and guns without a buttstock or with a folding or collapsible buttstock.
